My name is not really Joecephus, it’s Joe. When I was signing up for X (when it was still Twitter) I was listening to some Hank Jr and inspiration must have struck.
I have been blogging on and off (mostly off) since Dubya's first term in the Oval Office. I'm back again and may or may not actually be active, we'll see.
I started out with a blog called Right Wing Rebel, the highlight of my time blogging under that nom de plume, was when I got linked to the official campaign site of Fred Thompson after posting my endorsement of him for President in 2008. I no longer own the domain name, I gave it up mostly due to not believing in the left/right political spectrum.
During my sophomore year in High School, watching on the news the actions taken by the Federal Government during the Waco Siege was what lite the spark that would eventually lead me to becoming a libertarian. I started reading Henry David Thoreau, then eventually cast my first Presidential election vote for Libertarian Party candidate Harry Browne.
Then 9/11 happened.
I had a brief couple-year decent into neocon madness. Eventually, mostly due to the seemingly never ending stream of pine boxes draped in American flags being sent home from the Middle East.
I enjoy riding my Harley, smoking cigars, listening to music and being free. Those are things I will post about mostly, as I feel like it.
