I need to get this out of the way first and foremost, I am a Fred Thompson supporter. It really comes down to the fact that I am a Conservative, and being such, In in my heart and soul believe that there is no other choice for Conservative voters then Fred Dalton Thompson. So forgive me if you think this may cloud my objectivity in scoring this debate, but anybody who doesn’t agree that Fred Thompson was the clear cut winner tonight — simply was not watching the same debate that I did.
In a general election, Fred Thompson is the only candidate I feel confident in debating against and defeating a Democrat. Because he is the only one that will actually be sound on the issues, and will not have to backtrack on things he said in the past. He is, was and always will be a Conservative — not a Johnny come lately like some of the other candidates who shared the stage with him in South Carolina.
Conservatives, come on aboard — there’s plenty of room aboard the Red Pick-Up Truck.
